In Your Voice (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of families and children who use our app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
- Child’s name — used only to personalize story content. Stored locally on your device.
- Voice recordings — when you record your voice for Memory Voices or Read Aloud stories, audio is uploaded to secure cloud storage (Supabase) to enable playback across sessions.
- Account information — if you create an account, we collect your email address.
- Device identifier — a random ID used to associate your stories with your device when not signed in. Not linked to any personal identity.
- Subscription status — managed by RevenueCat to determine access to premium features. No payment information is stored by us.
- To generate and personalize bedtime stories for your child
- To store and play back your voice recordings
- To manage your subscription and premium access
- We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
Children’s Privacy
In Your Voice is designed for use by parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The child’s name entered in the app is stored locally on your device and used only to personalize story text.
Data Storage & Security
- Story content and voice recordings are stored securely using Supabase cloud infrastructure
- Audio files are stored with access controls — only you can access your recordings
- We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — cloud storage and database (supabase.com/privacy)
- Anthropic — AI story generation (anthropic.com/privacy)
- Fish Audio — voice synthesis (fish.audio)
- RevenueCat — subscription management (revenuecat.com/privacy)
- Apple — payment processing via App Store (apple.com/privacy)
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Voice recordings can be deleted directly within the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
